Our Mission
The mission is church planting. We will do this by winning souls and discipling them teaching them to do what we do. This involves being a active witness (speaking to them about Jesus) whether in the market or in the middle of the villages and tribes. But even before some are won to Jesus we will already be in their home doing bible studies. These plants will start as "simbalay" house church. It is our desire to teach these people that the true church of the Living Savior revolves around "people" not a "building." Once the Simbalay are well established then we will turn our attention to a building. A building is second nature and our "first" job is to get them to understand that the "church" is people and not a building. As God raises up men, we will began to teach these men to do what we do. To plant "good seed" on "good ground".
Our heart is to win, teach and send men into the uttermost parts of the world. Mainly Cambodia, Laos, and Vietnam as "Tentmakers." One of our goals is to teach these men to be self-supporting on the field, but that can only come as we teach our church plants to be self support thru the tithe and the love of "faith promise". In some countries this is the only way you can teach men to go. In some Southeast Asian countries you cannot build a building instead you have to do it in homes, in the jungle and other out of the way places so they will be accustomed to this type of church plant so the adjustments will be minimal. And their effectiveness will be at a greater level. I believe what our converts see us do, that is what they will do.
God has called Diane and I to Southeast Asia to plant New Testament churches and to raise up men who will do the same things. 2 Tim. 2:2 says "And the things thou has heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also." Our heart is to raise up men who will go into Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam to preach Jesus and Him crucified, to plant New Testament Churches and send others. The divine order is win them, teach them, and then send them.
